Infrastructure Decision Support (IDS) is a company of Āpōpō and provides industry leadership in the development, advocacy, and implementation of evidence-based decision-making for asset infrastructure (transport and water assets.)

 

Dr Theuns Henning, Chief Executive Officer of IDS is available for comments and interviews.

Dr Henning has a significant industry involvement mostly in his role as CEO of IDS.  He has led the ongoing New Zealand national state highway long-term maintenance modelling project over the last 22 years and across numerous councils.

A Director of the Climate Adaptation Platform, Transportation Research Centre and Director of Master's Programme in Infrastructure Asset Management at the University of Auckland, Dr Henning specialises in the areas of Asset Management, Performance Monitoring, Climate Adaptation, Performance-Based Contracts and Benchmarking.
