The 2011 GIS for Transportation Conference wrapped up on Wednesday March 30th 2011 in beautiful Hershey, Pennsylvania. This is an annual forum focusing on the application of Geospatial Information Systems as it relates to government and transportation.

Deighton attended the four day conference as an exhibitor in support of the event.

Approximately 350 attendees filled the Hershey Lodge to listen to speakers, get involved in workshops and network with their colleagues. Deighton has a great interest in furthering the integration of Asset Management Software and GIS. Based on the content of the numerous sessions at this conference, this topic is also on the minds of many transportation professionals.
